Students will use their understanding of a food chain in order to cut and paste different parts of the chain within a specific region/biome. There are four pages for each region/biome with an in color and black & white version available. Pages 1 and 2 students cut out images and paste their food chain directly onto a background. Pages 3 (older students) and 4 (younger students) ask students to describe the food chain using words. Pages 1 and 2 can be used without using pages 3 and 4. Region/Biomes include: Arctic, Australian Woodlands, Boreal Forest, Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest, Desert, Grasslands, Human (Farm), Marsh, Mountain, Ocean, Pond, Rainforest, and Tundra.
